How long does it take to install natural stone?
Stone work is very labor intensive so each job is different and will have to be determined at the time of your estimate.
Does stone cost more than other products?
It usually cost more to install stone, but it is a great investment not only because of how it looks but because of it’s durability.
Why should I choose stone?
Stone looks great and has a natural look on any landscape. Stone is long lasting.
Sod & Grading FAQs
How long before the grass grows together?
It depends on how much it’s watered and the weather conditions, but under ideal conditions it only takes a month or two.
Will you grade the yard so that the water will run off properly?
Yes. We take a careful survey on your lawn so that after we grade and install the sod the water will run off your yard properly.
What sod is best for my lawn?
It all depends on how sunny or shady it is on your property. Therefore when we are giving you your individual estimate we will determine what will best fit your yard.
How often do I have to water?
During the first few weeks the more you water the better. Usually twice a day everyday until the sod is rooted (or until you can’t pull it up anymore) is necessary for optimal care.

What exactly is a block wall?
A block wall is a concrete product that is pre-manufactured into different sizes, shapes and colors. They lock together to form a beautiful, long lasting wall.
Are all walls the same?
There are many different styles, sizes, and colors to choose from when it comes to block or stone walls.
Which last long timber or block?
Treated timber walls will last for many years however, block and stone walls will last a lifetime.
Which cost more a timber wall or a block wall?
Timber prices in the recent years have gone up a lot and they are now close to the price of a block wall. Block walls are a longer lasting product and you will get best value from these types of walls.
Which type of wall is best for my lawn?
Every property is different and must be evaluated on an individual basis, but you can never go wrong with a block or stone wall.

Can we set the price over the phone?
Every property is different. It is necessary to look at your landscape before we can set a price.
Will you meet with me before cutting?
Yes. It is necessary to meet before pruning to determine what is to be cut and so we can set the price.
Do you haul off pruned material?
Yes. We take away all debris.
Landscape Services FAQs
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and workman’s compensation. Certificates provided on request by fax or e-mail.
Do you give a warranty on plants installed?
Yes. Most plants come will come with a year warranty. However, there are some exceptions that will be noted at the time of the estimate.
Will you be here to oversee the project?
Yes. I will be involved in every job so that we can avoid communication errors.
What is your experience?
I have 20 plus years of field experience here in Georgia. I have great knowledge of the land area around Atlanta so I have a wide experience on what looks best on the landscape.
Do you provide references?
We provide references on request and try to supply references people that have had similar or the same type of work done.
Do you charge anything for designs?
At this time I try to keep designs simple like free handed drawings. In this case there would be no charge. If you would like a blue printed design there would be a charge.

How long does it take to install a custom patio?
The average size patio and walk way take 3-5 days. However, how long really depends on your individual situation and the size of the patio or walk way.
Will they add value to my property?
Yes. It is a fact that a well landscaped property can add as much as 10%-15% in value to the land.
Are there different colors that I can choose from?
With pavers there are many different colors and styles to choose from. We will help you decide what will best fit your property.
Will water drainage be a problem with paver patios?
Water drainage is a always a big concern, but if properly installed water will soak through the patio or run off.
Why should I use paver patios over concrete patios?
Paver patios have a more natural look and feel. They also provide better drainage than a concrete patios.
How long will paver patios last?
Paver patios are a brick product, so unless they are under an unusually extreme condition they should last forever.
